I'm so sorry, but if it makes you feel any better, my fun-time-Buffy party night involved watching a robot throw Spike through a window, so if you want to trade... no wait, I wouldn't give up that memory for anything.

The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Yes. Katie Finneran's character, Mel, is a riot.

I loves me some Katie. Her interviews on the Wonderfalls DVD's cracked my shit up.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Also, you make me wonder if the show may not be too dark or gruesome for vanilla me. Still really excited and looking forward, but wondering.

Frankly, I would have to at least try any Tim show. I'm very encouraged to hear about the funny, though, because I, too, was getting a tad nervous.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

My favorite line ever, without spoiling is, "...the sixth victim."

I add my HA to ita's and I'm in Kristen's corner with the neenering. Plus, I can understand why the Mad Lib version of trying to guess the beginning of the line is freaky making.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

So Kat, Kristen, and ita all go on the mean tauntyhead list with Allyson?

Got it.

Kristen - Apr 08, 2005 4:55:43 pm PDT #5801 of 10001

Hey, I haven't had anything to be taunty about in a YEAR. I'ma enjoy this while I can.

I don't have first hand taunt. Just second hand. Kristen has first hand taunt.

Hmmm....

Nope, same list.

Nope. I'm LESS TAUNTY than Kristen.

Yeah, me too. My mom doesn't like anything without a sense of humor, so now I can tell her to watch this and know she'll enjoy (she liked Angel, Firefly, and Wonderfalls).

This - this is why I asked my question in the first place. While I could dig a really good show in this vein that didn't bring the funny, given writers involved, it would seem such a waste.
