The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
I wondered where that "40-year-old virgin" comment came from.
Of course, I can tell you he is a sexy motherfucker. And kind. And occassionally wrong.
But those truths are self-evident.
Um. What were we talking about? The Inside. Good show. I highly recommend it.
So it shall pass.
Taunty taunter taunting-wench, you are.
We wonders if Allyson has acutally seen the precious, oh yes we do.

I've seen dailies. Read I think four scripts. The dailies I think were reshot by our ownes Tim.
The thing I think, and I dunno, maybe Kristen will agree or add to it, is that Tim really is taking enormous care with this. He's just so immersed in it, in every single nook of the show.
Right down to how the desks should look, what sort of suits they should wear, every tiny detail in his head spills out into the scripts and what he's been doing with it all.
Joss did this with BtVS. Every script got a Jossification. He insisted on seeing polaroids of every costume before they were finalized. And that came through in the fluidity of storytelling, yes?
The Inside is not nanny-raised, is what I'm saying. Maybe I'm talking out of my ass. I don't work there day-to-day. And I'm maybe reading too much into what I've seen and heard.
So if I sound a little jackassy, that's it.
Not jackassy at all. I wish we could all see the gloriousness of it now, but I'm impatient that way.
I don't know much so I don't really have anything to add. Except that this:
Right down to how the desks should look, what sort of suits they should wear, every tiny detail in his head spills out into the scripts and what he's been doing with it all.
Would not at all surprise me. It's his baby and exactly the show he was always meant to do. I would imagine he's completely engrossed in every aspect of it.
He's just so immersed in it, in every single nook of the show.
Cue squeeing alternating with screams of impatience.
