We just need to find some guy named Jesus. Then we can have one of those, "I'm Jesus and I support this message," thing-ys at the end.
The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
y'all are cracking me up. we need to have a game of "if Allyson was in charge of FUX". kind of like i never...
Marti sounded very defeatist, didn't she? i just couldn't stand PP though. plus i didn't really think any of the actors were very pretty. so no draw for me!
We just need to find some guy named Jesus.
I'll bet I have a neighbor with that name.
I think Kat might have a student with that name.
Ooo, we can do the Spike Lee Malcom X thing.
I am Jesus...
I am Jesus...
I am Jesus
I have several students with the name Jesus...
B'cacy has broken my brain, because all I can think is "And you're older than them, right?"
HA! I am not yet older than they. I'm still younger than the Messiah and Bruce Lee.
I would totally support Allyson for president of FOX simply because it would mean many more Minear-produced, written and directed shows whose episodes would be shown in order and would not be cancelled without at least a 7 season run. Really, is that too much to ask of FOX (or any other network which shows Tim's shows for that matter?)
BTW, could anyone who attended the LA press club event last weekend in which Tim was present, please post (even if it's just a bit) of what he said, if you can recall it. I thought the topic was quite interesting actually and would love to know what he said, if possible.
Val, I wrote down quotes.
"I run over them with my Mercedes."
"It's lurid"
"Because the serial killer was being insensitive."
"I read all their blogs."
"Millions of dollars."
"I'm not angry that the shows get cancelled. I'm angry that they don't get a chance."
"If you are going to punish me, fire someone else is what I always say."
"I've got my show!"
I forget the questions.
