Buffy: Where are the burgers? Riley: Yeah man, I'm starving. Cow me. Xander: I'd love to make with the moo but the fire's not cooperating.

The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

HA! I am not yet older than they. I'm still younger than the Messiah and Bruce Lee.

I would totally support Allyson for president of FOX simply because it would mean many more Minear-produced, written and directed shows whose episodes would be shown in order and would not be cancelled without at least a 7 season run. Really, is that too much to ask of FOX (or any other network which shows Tim's shows for that matter?)

BTW, could anyone who attended the LA press club event last weekend in which Tim was present, please post (even if it's just a bit) of what he said, if you can recall it. I thought the topic was quite interesting actually and would love to know what he said, if possible.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

Val, I wrote down quotes.

"I run over them with my Mercedes."

"It's lurid"

"Because the serial killer was being insensitive."

"I read all their blogs."

"Millions of dollars."

"I'm not angry that the shows get cancelled. I'm angry that they don't get a chance."

"If you are going to punish me, fire someone else is what I always say."

"I've got my show!"

I forget the questions.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

He was asked how he feels about people who say they don't watch teevee, and put the genre down as a brainsuck. He replied, "I just run them over with my Mercedes."

I was disappointed in the 40-year-old virgin's response to the question about 'net fandom's influence over television.

Tim said, "I've made a lot of friends," about fandom.

Good thing the question wasn't about movies cause then I'd be all flat stanley.

I would have had no idea what you were talking about except I just got one from my 6yo nephew!

Flat Stanley!

Tim would run me over if he felt that way about movies because, while I like them okay, I just don't get the same love vibe others do.

If I only had a brain...

Tim's only 40? Spring chicken.

Huh? Tim's 41. And, um, I don't think he's a virgin.

Oddly, I think that was the most uncomfortable thing I've ever posted.
