Yeah, I followed a "save PP" link from Buffy News, and voted for Veronica Mars instead. Other than the fact that I'm watching it, I can't understand why the ratings for VM suck the way they do. Even with a guest spot by Alyson Hannigan, the ratings still sucked. Great show, though.

I can't understand it either. for the past couple of weeks i've been pimping the hell out of it. if it gets canned it will be akin to the heartbreak i felt when Wonderfalls was cancelled.

I actually watched all but the last ep of PP. Or at least sat there while it was on. I thought that the marketing for it was great though- it made me really want it to be as good as the commercials.

I'll even flist her.

Dude. So weird. The second season premiere of Tru Calling? Good!

There's good character conflict, it's less formulaic, there's less rewind filler, there's already the beginnings of an arc. It's such an improvement.

I was wishing for its demise before, but now I'm very interested in seeing the rest of the filmed episodes, and I probably would have watched the second season without feeling as dirty. I mean, it's no Wonderfalls, but I bet it's better than Point Pleasant.

AMY COYNE (FOX) - Tom Berenger ("Peacemakers"), Kate Jennings Grant ("Kinsey") and Phillip Vaden ("Pope Dreams") have all joined the cast of the drama pilot, about a woman (Ashley Williams) who inherits her father's sports agency following his death. Berenger will play Amy's mentor, an associate at the agency who was her dad's No. 2. No details however were available about Grant and Vaden's roles. Matthew Bomer also stars. Todd Holland is directing the 20th Century Fox Television-based pilot from a script by creator Kevin Falls.

If Veronica Mars gets cancelled after this season, I'll be much sadder than when Wonderfalls was cancelled. Don't get me wrong, I loved and adored Wonderfalls, but VM has got me more interested than any show since Buffy. Even Firefly didn't grab me as much.

I can't watch Veronica Mars. It does nothing for me.

As part of the pact, Silverstein will serve as a co-executive producer on FOX's midseason drama "The Inside" as well as develop new projects for the studio. Silverstein is also working on a drama project for NBC entitled "Fables" (no details of which were available) separate from the 20th deal.
