I'm just trying to tell you that we have nothing in common besides both of us liking your penis.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I can't watch Veronica Mars. It does nothing for me.

From Zap2it:

THE INSIDE (FOX) - Writer/producer Craig Silverstein ("The Dead Zone," "The Invisible Man") has inked a two-year, seven-figure overall deal with 20th Century Fox Television. As part of the pact, Silverstein will serve as a co-executive producer on FOX's midseason drama "The Inside" as well as develop new projects for the studio. Silverstein is also working on a drama project for NBC entitled "Fables" (no details of which were available) separate from the 20th deal.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I watch VM for a couple specific reasons. I don't respect myself much for that.

All this time, I thought Hunter was a bitch. Turns out she was just hungry.

Re: Point Pleasant.

Y'know what Point Pleasant brings to mind? All those commentaries where the writers point out a scene Joss rewrote for them when they got stuck. Even brought to mind "Out of Gas," when Tim said Joss wanted another shot of the button, and got it--and was right to want it.

Guess I'm saying that somebody had to have the final word, and when it was Joss it made everybody look good.

Guy #1: Man, there are so many hipsters around. I hate hipsters! Guy #2: You're at the wrong place. That's like going to Vegas only to say "I hate titties!" --The Warsaw, Williamsburg (OINY)

Yeah. In every example I've heard, the Joss addition was just the perfect thing - and usually one of the best lines, scenes, etc. of the episode. It just makes me feel even more what I always thought about the Magic=Crack storyline - if Joss had been around more, it might not have gone down the way it did. I could even see how Innocence/Surprise might have been godawful if Joss wasn't steering the ship.

This is so true. Over the years I have heard so often that what was my favorite part of an episode came from Joss.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Caroline is just too adorable. And that movie with Boreanaz sounds... interesting.
