Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Wonderfalls DVDs are on sale at Target. The price I saw today was $22.99.

The Canadian channel (Global TV, I think) that was showing Wonderfalls at the same time as FOX cancelled the series after Wound-Up Penguin, right?

They showed the entire run in Ireland, so they must have been pretty good. However, it was on the smallest channel.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I was at a panel about science fiction books that should be made into movies at Boskone this past weekend, and one of the panelists wondered aloud why no one has ever adapted The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress. Somebody (not even me) immediately mentioned that Tim was working on one. Even pronounced the last name correctly.

The other thing of note was a panel where the discussion moved to RP slash fic, at which Nutty and I managed to introduce the panel moderator to the term "puppy slash."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The idea of you and Nutty talking puppy slash makes me giggle, DX.

I am so happy with the Aaron we got. Mmmm.
