I always thought the name Serenity had a vaguely funereal sound to it.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I just finished the Wonderfalls DVDs (except for the commentaries). Am broke now. I sometimes cry for unrequited love stories (like, say, Cyrano de Bergerac ) so there was some tears goin' on for some of the latter episodes....

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hey, Miracles - the Complete Series is coming out. Wasn't Fury on this?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I thought it was Greenwalt.

That sounds right. Fury was already busy on BtVS, I think.

And they he went to Jake 2.0 which lasted only slightly longer, right? Greenwalt, I mean.

Just checked IMDB. That's right. Plus Profit. Which is now also coming out on DVD.

eta: Oh look at that, he wrote for Shannon's Deal too. I liked that show.

Wait, what? Coooooool. Maybe there's hope that ACTION will come out too. And THE TICK (animated). I know you can get those on e-bay, but they're bootlegged, right?

That's where I got mine. And JZ got a set for her SIL. I don't know if those will ever come out legally, though, since the rights issues are so byzantine. (Something to do with Fox Kids being spun off and separate from Fox etc etc.)

Lone Gunmen (complete series) is coming out in March.

Newsradio is scheduled, but has been delayed. S1&2.

Buffy is coming out with a "starter set." Basically for those who are scared to buy a whole season.

Looks like Twin Peaks, Larry Sanders and Mary Tyler Moore all stalled from not-enough-sales and won't be out with extra seasons. That sucks.

I mean, all four seasons of Felicity get released and MTM - one of the best shows ever - only gets S1?

Well, one of the big problems with the season 1 Twin Peaks DVD set was that it didn't have the pilot, so I bet that might have cost them more than a few sales.

I know the second season (there were only two, right?) went off the rails, but I thought it was still enjoyable even when it wasn't making any sense.
