Mal: Well, you were right about this being a bad idea. Zoe: Thanks for sayin', sir.

The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I know you can get those on e-bay, but they're bootlegged, right?

That's where I got mine. And JZ got a set for her SIL. I don't know if those will ever come out legally, though, since the rights issues are so byzantine. (Something to do with Fox Kids being spun off and separate from Fox etc etc.)

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Lone Gunmen (complete series) is coming out in March.

Newsradio is scheduled, but has been delayed. S1&2.

Buffy is coming out with a "starter set." Basically for those who are scared to buy a whole season.

Looks like Twin Peaks, Larry Sanders and Mary Tyler Moore all stalled from not-enough-sales and won't be out with extra seasons. That sucks.

I mean, all four seasons of Felicity get released and MTM - one of the best shows ever - only gets S1?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Well, one of the big problems with the season 1 Twin Peaks DVD set was that it didn't have the pilot, so I bet that might have cost them more than a few sales.

I know the second season (there were only two, right?) went off the rails, but I thought it was still enjoyable even when it wasn't making any sense.

Guy #1: Man, there are so many hipsters around. I hate hipsters! Guy #2: You're at the wrong place. That's like going to Vegas only to say "I hate titties!" --The Warsaw, Williamsburg (OINY)

Lone Gunmen (complete series) is coming out in March.

How many eps is that? Any unaired?

(Of course, I don't know why I'm bothering, considering the finale gave me a hate-on for Chris Carter that almost paralleled that brought on by XF Seasons 5-9)

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Not only that, but I rented the first disc from netflix, and they didn't even sharpen up the color on "Twin Peaks."

"Profit" is coming out? Oh hell yes.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Holy crap! I never watched Profit when it was on (all of 3 weeks, right?) so I didn't realize Holtz was on it.

eta I'm sure someone mentioned it back in the day, but it didn't stick with me.
