Sad now. I received my Wonderfalls dvds on Friday, and swore to myself that I would play them one a night for the next couple of weeks. Weeks became weak, and I watched everything over the weekend. The show started out so well, and then just kept getting better. I kept telling myself “think of it as a mini-series”, but it didn't help much. While I'm thrilled to have seen all 13 'sodes, I'm very sad that there won't be any more to look forward to.

The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
I'm looking for some information about where the direction of "Wonderfalls" was going to go if the show actually had a full season or went into future seasons.
Can someone point me to a post or a thread and some search terms or if you have the info handy, could you repost?
Well it started mid season, so I don't know if there would have been more than 13 episodes in the first season.

Not as originally envisioned. However, plans were at least partly in place for Season 2.
le n, there was some discussion of at least one aspect of the second season here: Matt the Bruins fan "The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress" Feb 3, 2005 8:00:14 am PST
The commentaries mention at least one plan for the third season: Jaye would start out in a mental institution after having being locked up for claiming to be a prophet, I think. And she would run into none other than Peter Johnson, the kid from "Lovesick Ass."
Lying Pig: ZOMG Jewel Staite is even hotter as a bitch than as a happy mechanic.
Yes, that's really ALL I have to contribute. Other than SQUEEEEEEEEEEE!
"The Message" still makes me cry. Sniff.
We didn't see any of SF apart from the hotel, because we spent several hours watching all the episodes Alibelle hadn't seen yet.

Fine. Blame it on me. Pusher.
That said, I thought Wonderfalls was great. However, the last few episodes, from the end of "Safety Canary" on, left me really upset. And they just toyed with me. Only to fix everything super quickly in the last five seconds of the last episode. It was cruel and unusual punishment. I'm still holding a grudge. Those last five seconds were not enough for me to get over my upset because they were over too quickly. Also, it made little sense to me that Eric was returning the stuff that Heidi bought-- the stuff they went out of their way to show us that Heidi bought. What's making my grudge worse is the obviousness of the fact that there probably wouldn't have even been the two and a half seconds of niceness if the season, and the show (possibly), weren't over.
However. Wow, that is an extremely talented group of actors. And writers. And directors. And editors. And set designers. And prop people. And costume designers. And hair and makeup people.
Everyone is just so incredibly talented. I'm sorry that we won't get to see more of their combined work.
