I got all three discs, plus a bonus copy of Disc Two. That Super Saver Shipping really is a bargain!
The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
EeeeeE! Amazon just emailed that mine have shipped! I won't have them for this weekend, but they ARE on the way!
Mine have been "OUT FOR DELIVERY" since "07:49:00 AM". It's gettin' late in the day....
Mine are sitting in the back seat of my car calling to me. I rescued them from the post office at lunch. I must figure out a way to leave work early.
They were sold out at Borders SF. (Big gap by Wonder Woman DVDs.) They weren't out at Virgin (guy said they didn't have their order yet). I'm hitting Target on my way to collect Emmett. Then Amoeba on the way home. Dagnabbit. Still - go team sales!
Amazon still insists mine won't ship until the 7th. I've pretty much resigned myself to the going to Best Buy tomorrow plan at this point.
I waited at work two extra hours (because UPS says they deliver until 7:00) but they didn't show up. Oh well - I guess I won't be watching them over the weekend....
Aww. They couldn't get the rights for the Frou Frou song in the pilot. It's been replaced with some other trip-hoppy song. Damn. Man, the use of Frou Frou was one of the things that made me love the show in the first place. At least I still have it on tape.
The "Greetings from Wonderfalls" featurette was great, very entertaining. Warning, though: it's spoilery!
I bought my copy at a Borders in Hollywood -- my friends and I bought the three they had left (someone else had snagged the fourth earlier in the morning). The DVDs were number four in sales on Amazon on February 1, which was awesome.
Did anyone watch the webcast? It was a weird format -- the 279 fans who signed up were on a huge conference call on the phone and watched the video portion on their computers. Caroline, Bill Sadler and Lee Pace were on a webcam in NYC, Tracie Thoms was on the phone in San Francisco, and Bryan, Todd, Scotch Loring, Tyron Leitso and I were on a webcam in LA. It was chaotic and fun. FOX is planning to either rebroadcast it for those who missed it or make it available for download, but I don't know what's happening with that right now.
The WGN radio interview with Caroline Dhavernas from Sunday night is now available!
