You guys had a riot? On account of me? A real riot?

The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

I think that my music store might be open every Tuesday from 12 to 12:30 am. (They usually close at 11). I asked if they could hold a copy until morning for me, and they said I could come at midnight if I wanted. It's just another reason they are cool. Unless there's a "big" release out today that I didn't know about?

You know, I think if they weren't coming as a gift, and therefore, free, I'd be making a trip... well, at least tomorrow. Am very excited, though. I'm remarkably unspoiled for the back half. No scripts, no peeking in on the spoiler thread. Such restraint.

What's the store, Lilty? Is it Bull Moose, by any chance?

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

I've never been this unspoiled. Which actually leads me to a question I almost forgot I had.

My tentative plan was to unsubscribe from Minearverse from here on in, until I finish the episodes. Is there going to be a set amount of time people wait before discussing Wonderfalls here, or should we take discussion to Wonderfalls Spoilers?

I just want to know so I can avoid spoilage and/or opening my big fat mouth when I shouldn't.

ETA: Ah, but of course it is, Frank. Bestest store there is!

Old Port? Mall? North Windham?

I figure it's not Brunswick, though that's my location (being home and all).

For those who might be interested, and understand the comparison, Bull Moose is the Newbury Comics of Maine (even though I think NC have a S. Portland location themselves now, I think of them as strictly MA).

I wondered the same thing, Lilty. I think I have a vague recollection of a discussion about this a while back. I don't remember the outcome or anything, of course. So not helpful.

Actually, a year or so ago, they opened up a Scarborough Warehouse location, which is where I go. It's great- huge space and they get the odd weekend afternoon performance. (I know I've seen the name Dresden Dolls kicked around here- they will be in-store this month.)

WHOA!!!! Holy SHIT! When? Where is it in Scarborough? You need to see them, even if others can't make it.

Yep, it's in Scarborough, just before South Portland on the Payne Rd. I know nothing of them, but they are playing a show in town that night, so will play the afternoon at BullMoose. I can get more info tonight.
