Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

GO SEE THE DRESDEN DOLLS DAMMIT.

That is my advice to you, Lilty.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

What P-C said. Also, I need dates and location - my brother would be interested to know and if it doesn't conflict with my move I will defintely catch them wherever they are playing.

Fuck, they're playing Super Bowl Sunday. Feh. I'll have to catch them around town I guess. I'll let my brother know anyway, but Sunday is probably not going to fly with him for a live show.

Feh, I say. Feh.

ETA If you want to get an idea what they're about, Lilty, check out Dresdendolls.com

Interesting site from the little I saw.

"Being hungover is like winning the lottery, except they pay you in regret!" - T-Rex

You know, I think if they weren't coming as a gift, and therefore, free, I'd be making a trip... well, at least tomorrow. Am very excited, though. I'm remarkably unspoiled for the back half. No scripts, no peeking in on the spoiler thread. Such restraint.

You're stronger than I. I have em on VHS, and am still twitching a bit at having to wait another week to get the DVDs as a birthday gift.

[insert something funny here]

I am still puzzling over why/how my Wonderfalls DVD's arrived here (well, technically at my Father's house) last Thursday.

Especially as this is the UK. Weird. Cool, but still weird.

Art Crawl!!!

Perhaps they went through a wormhole.

What I don't understand is why in Canada people have only been able to pre-order Angel this week. I pre-ordered my Angel Season 5 and my Wonderfalls dvds on the same day. (But I kept them in separate orders so that my Wonderfalls dvds wouldn't have to wait to ship.)

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

And $26.84 later, they are mine! The precious! Mine mine mine!!

Art Crawl!!!

Did you watch a couple eps with your morning caffeine?

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Starting Pink Flamingos right now. I should be able to get in two more eps before work.

ETA: You know, when this ran the first time, I was loving it because I worked retail, and Jaye said all the things I wanted to say. Since then, I've been promoted. I just got hit with a horrifying realization:

I am the Mouth Breather! Somebody shoot me.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Nice -- the Wonderfalls DVD is top of today's IMDB page.
