It's in the second hour. It's getting cooler with
the "It was in the briefcase! And now it's happened!" business.
I'm into that shit. It's definitely intriguing, but that's a function of the premise.
The interesting thing is
it's being treated realistically. As in, since the characters don't know they're in a sci-fi movie, they're treating it as if it's a hoax.
Mmm. The Body.
Every time I see that episode, it gets better. The last time I saw it, it finally surpassed "Hush" as my second favorite Buffy ep. Because "Hush" doesn't impress as much on continued viewings (still awesome, plus, yay!, Tara intro, but not much MORE awesome), while "The Body" just becomes more and more impressive.
I also like that Tim episode, "The Horrible Painful Death of Spike." Though I wish they'd left in the extra scenes on the DVD - you know, the exclusive, real-fans-only Dawn Massacre scene.

I sooo wanted to see that.

They should film this double-feature and show it every ... day.
Hush still ahead of The Body on my Enjoy-O-meter. Don't see that changing.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that. I love "Hush." It's just so brilliantly constructed and shot. And funny.
Hush is my favorite. Always will be.
Yeah, they cancelled the Dawn massacre section when they realized that so many people would enjoy it, rather than get overwhelmingly sad and depressed. Tim wouldn't go for a happy death. You know how he is.
(Personally? Sad. Love Dawn. Whatev'.)
(If anybody asks, I'm not here. I'm working.)
I still can't figure out why we were tortured with Dawn. Or SaintCordy. Why torture the audience? Why was 15 year old Dawn written as a 9 year old spoiled brat?
Did they not learn from Oliver on the Brady Bunch? WTF?
ETA: Why didn't they just buy Buffy a puppy?
My impression of Dawn's age: Highschool freshmen in season 7, thus, 14-15. Making her 12-13 in season 5. More believable.
They should have stuck with that, and not thrown in the unfortunate "Yes, the 15-year-old can be alone for half an hour in her LOCKED HOUSE." Even if Michelle Trachtenberg didn't look remotely 12 in season 5. Or 13 in season 6. Nick Brendon never looked 15 either, but we let that slide.
Looking at it that way, her occasional obnoxiousness is somewhat more believable. As is her slow maturing into the seventh season. I've actually HEARD 13-year-olds shrike "Get out get out get out!" or equivalents, and that was pretty spot-on.
(In other words, yes, I still like the character.)
Also? Like Zoe. And Jaye. For on-topiccy goodness. Or, to stick with more controversial things, I like both Manuel and Wyoming.

I liked Dawn. And I *loved* Saint Cordy. Although I guess she was more of a figure than a character. And hella better than any S4 cordy. And her hair: great hair! But my fav's are "Belonging" Cordy and "You're Welcome" Cordy.
