I guess I just thought of that as before they actually moved in. But yeah, also, the timeline makes zero sense in the Firefly terms he was discussing.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

I'm damn psyched for this show.
Getting the creator and writer of Miracles is almost if not just as awesome as when M.E. snagged Ben Edlund. Not to mention Jane E. on board too. This show is gonna rock!
hopping from one foot to the other... Can't Wait!
Preach it. I've been on pins and needles since November.
Minear wrote and directed the best episodes of “Angel” series creator Joss Whedon didn’t write and direct.
Is he smocking crack?!? While I'm of the opinion that Joss' best work on Buffy eclipses Tim's on Angel by a hair, most of his episodes of the latter are widely regarded as run-of-the-mill. (When they weren't actively racing the Tidy Bowl Man, as was the case with "Happy Anniversary.")
“But look for a very specific ‘Angel’ reference,” promises Minear.
This, however, makes me happy.
Minear wrote and directed the best episodes of ?Angel? series creator Joss Whedon didn?t write and direct.
Maybe we are to take this in its simplest form. Just because he wrote and directed ALL the best Angel episodes doesn't make the statement untrue. In fact, it guarantees that the more limited statement above is true.
That's my literality, and I'm sticking to it.
This, however, makes me happy.
You say that now. Wait until Spike appears with the amulet, and see how you feel then.

That would create maximum pain. Or maybe Becky will look at Web and say, "You're a champion, Web."
OK, point. But since I haven't fallen in love with Tim's show yet, at least his string of migrating to my favorite show and pushing all the more enjoyable supporting characters to the sidelines has been broken.
Unless, of course, Abrams & Lindelhof have a bigger surprise planned for what's behind the hatch Boone and Locke found than I'd previously anticipated.

You think there's a plan?
That's so cute. Come here so I can pinch your cutiepie cheeks, cutie.
