Allyson, what the hell are they trying to fix by breaking your jaw? I say leave well enough alone, but should your jaw become coincidentally broken, then let them at it.
Is it sad that some of it actually made sense? At least the point that both screenwriters and fanfic writers are using characters who aren't theirs?

I used to have TMJ pain. Once I was chewing gum when suddenly I heard a loud crunch in my jaw joint that was accompanied by a flash of pain. Also, my jaw used to pop out of joint a lot.
I have TMJ pain. Perhaps I should get hit in the face harder. Getting hit kinda hard hasn't fixed it yet.
