I mean on not truly knowing which is which.

The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
Oh. Hm. I don't really care enough to have fun with it. I won't have much care in my heart until I'm watching it, or reading it.
I'm still in the "relieved that the 'verse is getting a last hurruh" phase of my fannishness, you know? And so, until I read it or see it, the speculation or bits of info here and there are meaningless. Without context, it's just noise to me.
"Joyce dies" is meaningless all alone, but the episode as a whole was the most important television I'd ever seen. I'm not explaining it well.
I get it. i know what you are saying. At the same time....
lighten up and celebrate that it is happening. You had not a small part to do with it happening and I for one, thank you!
No, comity.
I knew that.
I think Wolfram's still got that sewn up.
Probably cumulative. But Rafmun may hold the single occurrence record now.
Sydney, just to let you know, people here say things that piss me off on a daily basis.
Sometimes I only get here every other day.
Bahaha... which will then turn up another 20 posts on (a) whether or not you should feel that way (b) whether or not other people should apologize (c) how everyone else feels about the discussion. It is the Way of the Buffista.
Yep. Welcome to the family, Sydney.

Look, I'm coming from a plaace where we had a long conversation about whether we could discuss that SMG wasn't coming back for Buffy in NAFDA. Running joke is that the most phobic would be sadly disappointed in the Fall when they turned on their televisions on Tuesday and there was no Buffy.
NAFDA errs toward caution. Obsessive caution. I celebrated when the movie got greenlit. If "holy shit, he pulled it off" counts as celebration. I was pretty incredulous. And then sad that Tim wasn't working on it, because yo, his Out of Gas made me fall in love with Firefly.
But I hear this "joss" guy ain't too shabby in the writing department.

The strange little redheaded guy who does dialogue for Halle Berry and Donald Sutherland? You know, I'd like to see that guy get more work.

Didn't he do that weird show with the cheerleader who kills monsters?
No, no, that was Tim.
