Kristen, you're right. It was blasphemy.
But fun!
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
Kristen, you're right. It was blasphemy.
But fun!
Okay that's just blasphemy.
I actually gasped at how mean it was to even accuse your boy in jest of writing that piece of shit.
Do I really look like the kind of person who would have a website for the writer of Ep 1?
I may be a sycophant but I have standards, damnit.
I may be a sycophant
rereads Kristen's Firefly reviews
looks up "sycophant" in dictionary
decides to run out for a pepsi and stop trying to figure out if that word means what Kristen thinks it means.
Oh shut up. He. never. read. them.
Well obviously. He was busy with the next prequel script. That Lucas is a slavedriver.
ANAKIN EYEFUCKS JAR JAR
No. It just doesn't work as a Minearian concept.
What kind of nutso planet elects a teenager to wield supreme executive power?
This is a good point. The planet would have to be nutso. But if the teenager were reasonably smart, and if she spoke the local language fluently, and if she had at least a modest level of interest in public policy and foreign affairs, then the nutso planet would be well ahead of nutso earth in the matter of supreme executives.
Barry ... thanks for the interesting posts. I think you're a loony but like all the other loonies on this board, you're articulate, passionate and an asset to the discussions.
To bring us back to topic: if the rumours of a TV series based in the Star Wars universe are true, Tim's or Joss' involvement is the only thing that would make me contemplate watching.
Tom Stoppard co-wrote the script
!
This is the first news of the movie that's grabbed my attention.
Of the prequels, the only moment that made a strong (positive) impression on me was the part in the fight between Liam Neeson's character and Darth Maul when they were separated by some energy barrier. Neeson's kneeling and meditating and Maul's intense pacing told me worlds more about those characters than anything else in either movie. After that I was more interested in Maul's story than the one I was watching.
