Breaking in on a ramble, I watched more of s7 in reruns recently, and found that I really didn't hate it nearly as much as the first time. Parts I actually liked. Really hard for me to see NF *that* evil (damn, he's a good actor), but I actually liked some of late s7 Spike. I say this as someone who previously hated s7, so there may be hope yet. Or not.
I don't know what it says about me that I hated s7 the first time and still watched it again, and will probably purchase the DVDs when they come out just so I have a complete set, but will probably end up watching them at least once, again. And it's not even Firefly.
S7--and I'll keep this quick as it's off topic, except for that mysterious unaired episode Tim wrote that the papers always reference--holds up a little better on rewatch, and in rapid succession. A lot of the tension was murdered by long waits between episodes.
waltzes into thread
I watched
Strictly Ballroom
tonight.
It was sooo much fun!
I am announcing this here because it was in this thread that I first heard it was worth watching. Thanks!
heads to bed, doing the rhumba
Who was that rhumbaing woman?!?!
I don't know, but she sure cleaned up this town.
For those of you who thumb your nose at international copyright law Wonderfalls 1/11 and Dead Like Me 2/1 are on SN.

Article on TV series released on DVD - several Wonderfalls mentions, along with Freaks and Geeks and Family Guy. Sounds like there's a big market for quality TV shows that didn't make it on the networks.
Cranberry, I hope you find a way to make it to San Diego. Good luck! C'mon cyber-saver!!
I'm going! I got my ticket last night, so now it's for sure. Still have to find a place to stay... but I'm going. I'm really excited about that Sunday at comic-con.
Sounds like there's a big market for quality TV shows that didn't make it on the networks.
If only that could translate into a big market for quality TV shows actually airing ON the networks...
That's great, Cran. Have a fabulous time. And then tell us all about it!!!
