I don't like vampires. I'm gonna take a stand and say they're not good.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Connor. Dead Connor.

Um.

1) Multiple people will die 2) Ilyria and Wes. I have various half-baked theories as to why, but they're not worth going into right now.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I can't even lay odds on Wes. It seems just as likely they will as they won't.

One thing, though. I often find Joss's episodes to be a bit unsatisfying-- as if he was helicoptered in as a special guest writer. He doesn't quite have the characters down; some of his concerns are not the same as the arcs. For that reason, I expect to find this episode a little bit like that. On the other hand, perhaps because *this is it*, he will exceed all expectation. I certainly hope he's had some kind of end fo Angel in mind ever since the beginning-- if not of Buffy, than since the Shanshu prophecy.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Illyria and/or Lorne. Wes will survive.

Bell's co-writing, which should help.

The evil is this way?

Wes will die. *sniff* MY Scruffy!Wes will die. Mostly because joss loves to torment me so.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Another favorite moment: Nutty, talking about Dead End, calling Lindsey's truck "The Hickmobile of Sexually Confused Jealousy." I laughed so hard, I almost choked.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

IWRY. I cried like a baby. And of course, there's the naked DB moment *sigh*

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

But....that's more than salt. That's salt in the wound, an indian burn, a paddle to the ass, and getting pushed face down in the mud. Is this how I'm rewarded for 8 years of loyal fandom!?!?!?! BAH!!!

Sorry....as the hour grows closer I get erratic.

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

Hi everyone –

This is just a driveby delurking to thank you all for the years of enjoyment I’ve received from your many (many, many) posts. I’ve been following the threads since the early incarnations on TableTalk, although I’ve rarely been able to contribute here due to the sheer volume of posts (I’m usually reading them a day or two after they’ve been written). Your accumulated wit, whimsy, analysis and arguments (in the best sense of the word) have helped me to love and appreciate Buffy and Angel even more.

Thank you. And of course thanks to Joss, Tim, and all the assorted evil geniuses at ME. I can't wait to see what they come up with next. (It's a given that I'll be first in line here for the Firefly movie. But we need these people creating for our TVs on a weekly basis, dammit!)
