Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I didn't like the slowed down fight scenes in TGiQ because the missing was so obvious.

True enough. Add that to the great many things I didn't like about TGiQ.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

In one of the Firefly commentaries, NF points out that Adam Baldwin doesn't blink when he fires his gun, due to having a lot of experience with shooting. He says AB was the go-to guy for action scenes as he had done so many of them and really cared about them.

Probably, among other things, the result of having to shoot that big-ass gun in Full Metal Jacket for Kubrick for so many months (years?). I think Animal Mother's machine gun is one that's usually tripod-mounted, and, knowing Kubrick, it was probably the real deal.

Though it wouldn't surprise me if AB was a gun enthusiast to boot.

Go team Baldwin. I remember the gun thing from the commentary. I've next to no experience with guns myself, but apparently, not blinking is hard. Jackie Chan always used to fire a shot in the air to get used to the noise so he wouldn't blink.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

It is a bit hard, though it helps to be aiming at something that distracts you from the noise.

My boyfriend: great at EVERYTHING!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Enh, there's tons of actors out there that have been throwing crappy punches onscreen forever.

Oh, hell yes. That girl has the least credible fight scenes I've ever seen. Somewhere, Michael Dudikoff is laughing at her right now.

I've seen worse. Like Allysa Milano on that witch show.

I've probably seen worse, but it wasn't Alyssa.
