I call those wolf eyes. Neil McThingie, who used to be on Boomtown and is now on that medical examiner show, has them. As a matter of fact, I have named him "Wolf Eye," and whenever we catch a glimpse of him onscreen we shout it in unison.
McDonnough (or however that's spelt), and yep. I knew there was someone more recent I'd seen with them.
My cousin has those crystal blue eyes, and they're equally disconcerting in person. Both of her daughters inherited the eyes and blonde hair from her, as well.

Neal McDonough, also of
Band of Brothers.
He deserves a better show than that stupid Medical Investigation thingie which I can't believe hasn't been cancelled yet. The spooky paleness works for him.
God, I miss Boomtown. He'll never get another role that good.

Like Paul Newman's? My eyes are that color. Faded denim blue.
Like Paul Newman's?
For some reason, Newman's don't ping me the same way - they aren't quite frosty enough, or something.
As for Elizabeth Rohm it's not so much the eyes that bother me but her voice/mannerisms. Mat said that in the commentaries she "spoke in a dull monotone" but I think she was like that in the show as well. The one episode that she was better than normal in was Sense & Sensibility because her character could break out of the "I'm a cop and therefore have no life" tone in her voice.
Paul Newman's eyes have more of a blue tint to them--the eyes I think we're talking about here are so pale that they're almost white.

Is that what they call "gray" eyes, or are there irises out there that are more distinctly gray? The type I'm thinking of definitely have a blue tinge, but it's very pale.
