maybe I should watch my as-yet-unopened Angel 5 DVDs before complaining about not being able to rewatch the older stuff.
t gasp! I've already watched through season 5 a little over 4 times!

I've got all the Angel DVDs, but I've only watched up to the middle of S2. Well, and "Smile Time." I love looking at them and thinking, "All of Angel, mwah-ha-ha!" I think I'm afraid that rewatching them won't be as good as seeing them the first time, so I let them exist in a state of perfect anticipation.
Does Season 1 have any commentary other than for the episodes "City of..." and "Rm w/a Vu"? I tried going through each disc, but didn't find anything other than those two eps and a few promo featurettes.
According to Amazon, those are the only two with commentaries: [link]
I watched the first Kate epsiode today and was reminded how much I hated her. It's like how the body doesn't let you actually remember how the pain felt, it was horrible.
I liked Kate, but seeing Elizabeth Rohm years later in featurette footage was weird - she'd gone all raccoon-eyed and spoke in a dull monotone. Is there some sort of disorder that can induce lack of affect in an adult without otherwise impairing them?
Something about Elizabeth Rohm's eyes always made her look odd to me. They're very pale or something.

She's got the same kind of crystal blue eyes that Meg Foster has - they do add a freaky look to a person.
I call those wolf eyes. Neil McThingie, who used to be on Boomtown and is now on that medical examiner show, has them. As a matter of fact, I have named him "Wolf Eye," and whenever we catch a glimpse of him onscreen we shout it in unison.

McDonnough (or however that's spelt), and yep. I knew there was someone more recent I'd seen with them.
