If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I've been thinking that the song really fits Connor in a lot of ways. Pretty song, too.

Take your fingers off it, don't you dare touch it, you know it don't belong to you, to you...

Just watched part of "Fool for Love" today; noticed that Dru mentions the "King of Cups" at one point when Spike and Angel are fighting. Perhaps Fury and DeKnight were thinking of this quote when writing "Destiny" w/ the Cup of Perpetual Torment, given that both episodes explore Spike's early vamp days and his rivalry w/ Angel over Dru.

Fun Safety Tip: If you're a fan of the Wes/Fred relationship, don't have a couple of drinks and then watch "A Hole in the World."

Episode gets better every time though. I'm always shocked when Angel and Spike are staring down Eve and then from nowhere Lorne punches her.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

I can't wait for when S5's dvds come out. I shall put on 'A Hole in the World' and cry and cry.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

And I shall put on "Smile Time" and laugh and laugh and laugh. Really, one of the most amusing hours (well, 42 minutes) of television that I've seen in a long while.

brillig

The on;y reason I haven't divorced my hubby for taping over Smile Time is because of the DVDs.

Also, what year is Angel's car? The first one? I've become obsessed with where he got all his stuff, considering he got off the boat with nothing.

Man...if I watch "Smile Time" and then "A Hole in the World" too close together too many times I think my heart'll 'splode.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Ah, for the first time in a long time I was overcome with an urge to watch Angel tapes last night. And then promptly fell asleep as soon as I set my Dr. Pepper down on the coffee table. Sadly I need to get some work done today, but I'm hoping there's time to watch "Carpe Noctem" or "Deep Down."

I have been watching last season's Angel from my Tivo. I just can't bear to see Hole in the World yet. I am sneaking up on it tho. Tonight will be the submarine one.

What is even happening?

A Bronzer friend of mine lives in SoCal, and works for a valet service, as a second job. She got a call during the week, for a last minute chi chi house party. She got a call New Friday afternoon, switching her from the original assignment, to supervising at another site. The contact's name was Jim, and the email said the host was "David Sumpinurudder".

At house parties, valets are assigned a certain bathroom for their use. When she got to the party, it had already begun. After she'd been there an hour or so, she and another one of the valets went off to take a bathroom break (bath for the help was in the guest house). My friend is waiting for her friend to come out of the bathroom, and notices a photo on the wall looks familiar. Then she takes a good look around. She realizes she's working at David freaking Boreanaz's house.

She said about 10 minutes later, he and his father came out. They were sweet, and accomodating and she said nicer than even the usual nice hosts. Gave them food, told them to come into the party if they needed anything, etc. She refrained from mentioning fandom, and that she'd seen him at a PBP, etc.

Just thought I'd share. Although I seldom hear anything bad about the ME people anyhow, it was nice to hear from her just how nice DB was.
