From today's San Francisco Examiner "Remote Patrol":
Best finale:
"Friends," "Frasier" and "Sex and The City" had all the finale hoopla, but "Angel" actually had the best signoff -- major characters die and the remaining gang prepares to fight overwhelming evil in Los Angeles. Come on! That's pretty cool!
I caught the "evil hand" episode too!
It looked so pretty.
I miss Angel.
I caught the last ten minutes of it.
sniff.
Ah yes, "Dead End: The Homoeroticism on this Show Goes to 11"
So less gay. I love that ep.
And Lindsey's song is a little more interesting in retrospect. Raining down fire and all...

Yes, I noticed that. Was going to mention it, and got distracted by all the pretty and the snark.
I've been thinking that the song really fits Connor in a lot of ways. Pretty song, too.
Just watched part of "Fool for Love" today; noticed that Dru mentions the "King of Cups" at one point when Spike and Angel are fighting. Perhaps Fury and DeKnight were thinking of this quote when writing "Destiny" w/ the Cup of Perpetual Torment, given that both episodes explore Spike's early vamp days and his rivalry w/ Angel over Dru.
