Very convincing. Makes me completely want to put myself under government control. Please take me to where you can make me unconscious and naked.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I just watched "Supersymmetry," which was the only episode I hadn't seen.

Now the show is really over for me. *sniff*

It bugged me the entire season because I saw the same scene in the Previouslies over and over, but I didn't have it in the context of the episode. And it's so pivotal in terms of Fred, Gunn, and their relationship.

It was kind of cool to see Fred being so proactive and intentionally rallying against the common view of her (now I better understand the criticisms of her behavior in "A Hole in the World"). The shift to "I'm going to KILL him" seemed a bit abrupt, though.

And most importantly, all this time, maybe I hadn't watched the Previouslies closely enough or something, I had always thought Gunn had killed the professor by pushing him into the portal. But damn, he actually snapped his fucking neck first. This makes his later neck-snapping of that boy in the sewers even more meaningful, as well as his behavior at the end of Season Five. The man has a lot to atone for.

It said a lot about him that, in that moment, he chose to take on the responsibility so Fred wouldn't be burdened with that guilt. I'm glad I finally got to see it for myself.

In Sacrifice? Gunn punched the kid & knocked him out; he didn't kill him.

Really? God, my memory sucks.

Well, you probably didn't have to write up a 10 page summary of it. It's amazing how that etches things into your brain.

I would imagine so.

I also noticed "Supersymmetry" featured shirtless Gunn. I thought you would have been pleased.

Art Crawl!!!

According to TV Guide, DB has a new tv show:

ANGEL NO MORE: Hey, David Boreanaz fans — I've got some good news and bad news for ya. First, the good news: Everyone's second favorite bloodsucker (after James Marsters, natch) is sinking his teeth back into television. Now, for the bad news: He won't be playing a vamp. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Boreanaz has inked a deal with ABC to star in a drama series based on the life of undercover hit man Jack Ballantine. Screenwriter Patrick Smith Kelly (Don't Say a Word) is penning the script.

Warning! There is a spoiler for Desperate Housewives if you follow the link to TV Guide and scroll down!

I think that it's interesting that he snapped the guy's neck. Yes, he took that responsibility from Fred, but he also saved the guy from the torment of Quar'toth (sp?). It was kind of altruistic, in a wierd way.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yep. And Fred didn't much appreciate either aspect.

right. I wouldnt' have either. I imagine that there's a lot of soul searching and heartache in deciding to kill someone, and to have that be all for naught would piss me off too.
