It said a lot about him that, in that moment, he chose to take on the responsibility so Fred wouldn't be burdened with that guilt. I'm glad I finally got to see it for myself.
I think that it's interesting that he snapped the guy's neck. Yes, he took that responsibility from Fred, but he also saved the guy from the torment of Quar'toth (sp?). It was kind of altruistic, in a wierd way.
Yep. And Fred didn't much appreciate either aspect.

right. I wouldnt' have either. I imagine that there's a lot of soul searching and heartache in deciding to kill someone, and to have that be all for naught would piss me off too.
I'd object not so much because of the wasted prep, but because of the presumption of a need to protect.
There's the presumption that she needs to be coddled and can't do it on her own, icky enough by itself, and there's taking away her revenge
twice
by doing the deed and by killing him before he went into the portal, taking her ability to strike back at the person who caused her so much suffering. I'm not sure which would enrage me more.
A shot of JM and DB, reportedly from a UK TV show (I have no more information, sadly, but supposedly it's quite recent): [link]
Hee. Look at the height difference. DB looks great. I am growing fond of JM's hair that way. He's still tilting that head.
Nice picture - they both look so cheery. And I think they're both looking in fine form.
Angel Season 5 dvds in stores on February 15th.
Honestly, I was expecting more of a height difference.
Maybe there's a box.
