"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Although Coffey and... hell, I've forgotten her name. Played by Betty Thomas. Anyway, I think they did sleep together once, finally.

Joe kept coming on to Lucy, but if I recall correctly, they never did sleep together. He was at it again during the episode in which he was killed, and after he died, she essentially said that she should have slept with him.

And where are the Hill Street DVDs?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I've also heard a rumour that Will's gay.

But there's very little in the way of conclusive proof. Perhaps TV's most prominent illustration of "telling, not showing."

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

Jack, Janet, and Chrissie.

All is well that ends in pizza.

But Jack was often in horndog mode for them, Chrissy more than Janet, then Chrissy replacements after Chrissy left. He should have concentrated on Janet (dammit).

If they had followed the original British sitcom, Jack would have married one of them.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

He should have concentrated on Janet (dammit).

And Gilligan should've paired off with Maryanne.

And Archie with Betty.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

You may well be right, Ginger. It's been so long I just don't remember.

where are the Hill Street DVDs?

Oh, indeed. Speaking of which, I don't know if you watch Dead Like Me, but there's a simply marvelous tribute to HSB in the season premiere of DLM. I was utterly charmed.

Now I have to go fondle my 20-year-old HSB t-shirt.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

And where are the Hill Street DVDs?

I'd take consistent re-runs, even, but yeah.

Meanwhile, back at the Hall of Justice...

It reminded me of Angel saving Kate when she tried to commit suicide in her apartment on whatever "Angel" ep that was -- he got in even though she had never invited him. TPTB stepped in again with a small help.

I thought it was because she had died that he could get in without an invitation...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Tim was being too cryptic. I don't think it was as simple as that.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I don't care that some people didn't like Kate. I would have liked to see her in the final eps, even if it was to get killed off.
