Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Poor SavingAngel. I know the folks running it. I never agreed with all the money raised for billboards and such, because i knew it was all false hope, the show wasn't going to get saved. No one on the show side was trying to save it, and so, that makes things a wee bit difficult.

Joss' "make some noise" was ridiculously short-sighted. He wasn't shopping the show, and the fans had already spent tens of thousands to help do something he wasn't doing, anyway. I wanted to shake him and scream, "THEY WILL SPEND EVERY LAST DIME TO MAKE SOME NOISE DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND" but, you know. Who am I?

SaveAngel never did anything but rub the coattails of other campaigns (who were doing what they said they would do) against its diseased cock and spooging all over the names of the other campaigns.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Allyson, I like your way with words.

Allyson, I like your way with words.

Eh. I go to the spooge well a little too often.

Ew.

I hope I never again encounter the phrase "spooge well."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I go to the spooge well a little too often.

Yes, yes you do.

Yes, yes you do.

But still, Spooge On My Monitor-worthy. Or not. I just think "spooge" is a funny word. Like Albequerque.

What is even happening?

is SaveAngel.org the one a lot of people had questions about from the beginning, or was that SavingAngel.org?

Yeah, it was SaveAngel, Lyra. I think it was still February, when the questions were first raised. They're the ones I blathered about in my lj, back then.

SavingAngel is (or at least the folks I know on it are) honest, and gave good accountings, and actually produced results (not that they managed to save the show, but people saw where their money was spent).

I adored this show, but I couldn't see dropping a dime for it, because it was pretty clear from the beginning it was really gone, and why.

Up with the sun

Thanks, Allyson and Cindy-of-the-topicness.

It makes me sad for the people who gave them money. I generally don't give to fan campaigns, but I understand why some people do.

"Albequerque" is especially funny when Buggs Bunny says it.

"Albekoikee?"

I don't think I've ever heard Buggs Bunny say "spooge" though.

All is well that ends in pizza.

"Aaah, ya spooge!"
