Ann, that's a ferret.

Except instead of a single tour-de-force, she burned up all her talent on two years of OK performances as Kate?

A character who had potential but, sadly, never fit into the arcs.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I was just thinking about this topic this morning. Two of my prime examples are Elliott Gould who I love in M*A*S*H and The Long Goodbye but have found him incredibly ham-handed and dull since

I'd add CALIFORNIA SPLIT and THE SILENT PARTNER to that list, but yeah. Given the former was his last serious role for Altman, and the latter, despite its low-budget Canadian roots, had a script that you'd have to be lobotomized not to recognize the worthiness of, and Gould was at a low-point at that point in his career, I'd say something happened there (I'm guessing drugs of one kind or a multiple of types).

I will say, his character appearences (THE BIG HIT and his role as Pater Geller on FRIENDS) have been a bit more vital.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Thread's been quiet lately.

You know what I think would have been cool? If, as Wesley was dying, Illyria asked if he wanted her to lie to him, he said yes, and then Illyria morphed into Lilah.

That would have been cool. Out of character, but cool

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

But then the final episode wouldn't have had a testament about how Everyone Loves Fred.

Except, y'know, half of the fans.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Up with the sun

is SaveAngel.org the one a lot of people had questions about from the beginning, or was that SavingAngel.org?

Poor SavingAngel. I know the folks running it. I never agreed with all the money raised for billboards and such, because i knew it was all false hope, the show wasn't going to get saved. No one on the show side was trying to save it, and so, that makes things a wee bit difficult.

Joss' "make some noise" was ridiculously short-sighted. He wasn't shopping the show, and the fans had already spent tens of thousands to help do something he wasn't doing, anyway. I wanted to shake him and scream, "THEY WILL SPEND EVERY LAST DIME TO MAKE SOME NOISE DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND" but, you know. Who am I?

SaveAngel never did anything but rub the coattails of other campaigns (who were doing what they said they would do) against its diseased cock and spooging all over the names of the other campaigns.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Allyson, I like your way with words.
