I thought my first new show would be "The PA." Where contestants battle to get a PA gig. Segments would include who can wash a Lexus the fastest and who screws up the McDonalds order the least.
I'd be a total shoe in (unless a whole bunch of housewives and mothers tried out), as long as one doesn't have to be young and lithe.
quester, those are good moments. Cordy and Dennis did have some really sweet moments, didn't they? Gunn touching Gwen's back was a fantastic scene. It was visually beautiful, and also very sensual. Mmmm.
(You wouldn't have run out of room, I disremember the character count on this board, but it's bigger than the total of your posts. I've posted some doozies.)
I could probably do well on The PA. I've done second chair in litigation.
It has a lot in common with being a PA. Or a mother, come to think of it. Doing the dirty work so other people look good in public.

Ahh. The illusion of glamour. Stripped away.

This made me smile when I first saw it hours ago, and is still making me smile, so I thought I should note it.
Hi, I'm new here. I noticed today this article about management at the WB [link] I like to think the Angel fans might have had some influence in Mr. Levin's being demoted. What do ya'll think?
I'm not dancing on Levin's grave. I don't want my cute shoes to get all muddy.
And also? Can't wait to see what the producers create in the coming years.
Fans seem to be mourning the Buffy/Angelverse loss in the upcoming schedule, and I'm not, not at all. I've come to see the cancellation as a blessing, as the writers are all so incredible, and having them go off to put their big spicy brains to work in developing new shows can (if I'm optimistic) maybe be part of a renaissance in television, after this low point of crap wears on people, and audiences are hungry for something special, unique, story-driven, original, yummy.
I saw someone wanting to campaign for Angel to be returned to the WB after Levin's departure, and kept thinking, "please, please, stop shoving a high voltage wire up the ass of a rotting corpse to see it jump."
I want new things out of Whedon, Minear, Fury, Espenson, Goddard brains.
And if I'm honest? I was seeing it as a blessing for me, too. I was tired.
I'm with Allyson. hear hear.
It does mean I have to keep shelling out for HBO this next year otherwise I'd have nothing to watch on the regular tv (which maybe wouldn't be a bad thing...) Although, I'm hoping Lost is good. It is intriguing to me.
