Angel 5: Is That It? Am I Done?

[NAFDA] This is where we talk about the show! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm fairly sure it came off of rec.arts.sf.fandom; it was definitely Usenet, anyway.

It's usage here started after mieske/anathema/etc thanked all of the lurkers who supported him in email.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

IIRC mieskie also indicated that whatever the bullshit consensus of the actual posters, it was far outnumbered by the numbers of lurkers who supported him. I had no idea the meme lurker support in email predated us.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Ack! Pft! I can't believe I forgot to rewatch the finale last night!!

::banging head on table::

And there was something different with the grr. argh? Or is it just that it was there?

::kicking self, which is actually kind of humorous, because I'm not all that coordinated::

I've lived to bury my desires,/And see my dreams corrode with rust;/Now all that left are fruitless fires/That burn my empty heart to dust.

::kicking self, which is actually kind of humorous, because I'm not all that coordinated::

Which for no apparent reason made me start singing "Shiny, shiny, shiny boots of leather---" to myself.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I felt a sisterhood with Strega when I read her, so I'm all honored and stuff. When I'd recap or review ME stuff for ScoopMe, I'd judge by TWoP recap standards. Is it funny? Does it have teeth? Would it melt steel? And Strega does all of that.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

I had no idea the meme lurker support in email predated us.

I knew it, although not in the sense of knowing it knowing it, but more in the sense of seeing it in action, back in the late 90s on USENET.

Then again, one could say the same thing about Nixon's "silent majority" -- they supported him in, what, in letters to the editor that they never got around to writing.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

And there was something different with the grr. argh? Or is it just that it was there?

Not different, just there, where it wasn't there for WLVI watchers in New England last week.

Post Toasties

Now that I think about it, I really wished they'd tacked on DB's "Thank you, thank you very much" from the season 2 opener. That would have been a hell of a lot better than the WB's lame-ass thank you message.

Post-its and death.

Fairlite, I meant this post. So far as I have read, this hasn't been asked. Is Sarah Thompson a) A vampire b) Related to Pamela Winslow c) A Vampire who is coincidentally related to Pamela Winslow d) None, crazy person you are.
