Art Crawl!!!

I have seen only one unaired episode so I haven't read this thread and don't know if this all happens in later unaired episodes, but here are the "What Might have Happeneds" from EW:

1. Jaye & Eric's romance is thwarted when his estranged wife, Heidi, reappears. The muses ask Jaye to "mend what is broken," so she reluctantly stands by as Heidi and Eric renew their vows. Then told to "save him from her," Jaye wrongly believes that Heidi is a killer and stalks the newlyweds.

2. Jaye's lesbian sister, Sharon, has sex with her girlfriend Beth, who has just had sex with her ex-husband (Poor Bitch, er Thomas). Sharon winds up prengant, setting up a "miracle birth" in season 2.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Interesting.

ETA; The scene as written and even more as edited, would seem to imply that the mechanics and set up for this situation were in place.

Although the transmittal of Poor Bitch's semen might seem far fetched, it is within the realm of possibility and it might have been amusing to read fan reactions...

Oh the flame wars....

I was fine when existence had no meaning. Meaninglessness in a universe that has no meaning -- that I get. But meaninglessness in a universe with meaning? What does that mean?

The "miracle birth" storyline was probably going to happen in season two, so it's a legit spoiler -- although a pregnancy was never mentioned in season one, so it was pointless for the writer to include it.

Bryan shared a few spoilers I like better: he was planning an episode where Jaye has to do jury duty, which would coincide with her putting her relationship with Eric "on trial." Also, the main arc of the season would have Aaron becoming a "first apostle," worshipping Jaye like she's Jesus or something (and freaking her out). Sharon was supposed to get a new love interest after Beth gets back together with Thomas, and Aaron and Mahandra were supposed to stay together, although the relationship would run into problems when he had to hide his "religion" from her.

Trust my rage

I've finally seen the whole series. I can't believe FOX cancelled such a beautiful show. I'm not sure what were my favorite parts or lines since I saw it all together, but I am way in the corner with the love for Aaron. He really grew on me over the season. It's so sad there won't be anymore, but I'm now even more excited about the DVDs.

Kristen or Allyson - did anyone ever ask Tim again about DVD commentary, even if it's only the unofficial, Internet kind? I'd love to hear more of his thoughts on the show.

Kristen - Aug 18, 2004 8:02:40 am PDT #633 of 668

I did ask him and, while he didn't say no, he's fairly busy these days. I don't know if it will ever happen. I probably wouldn't count on it.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

He's not doing DVD commentary. I think Kristen talked to him about doing something unofficial for the site, but i disremember. IOW, I'm a moron and shouldn't be answering questions to which I don't know the answer, but just like to hear myself type.

Eric still doesn't deserve Jaye.

If it ever pans out, Kristen, I'd love to hear Tim's commentary on Karma Chameleon, Crime Dog, Caged Bird, or Lovesick Ass.

If only there is one, Lovesick Ass is my fave.

Allyson, I'm with you on Eric not deserving Jaye. I didn't buy his whole "I needed to marry her to divorce her" thing.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Jaye's mouth-breathing teenaged 'manager' -- or at least the guy who played him -- was on Dead Like Me this week.
