But Cranberry, I assumed that you meant us in this post and that we shouldn't be talking about. Not to speak for Allyson or anything.
Lovesick, my Ass!
[NAFDA] Discussion of all Wonderfalls episodes, including the unaired ones. When discussing Wonderfalls, anything goes. Safe-words and white fonting are not needed. Spoilers for other shows are verboten. Posts with offers to buy, sell, or trade copies of episodes will be deleted.
Oh, I was talking about you then... I was under the impression that whoever provided the DVDs you saw had asked you guys to keep it quiet, too, because a couple people here mentioned having seen the finale but wouldn't (and I thought couldn't) give details. So when I said "they're not allowed to spoil it," that's what I meant. That was back before everyone started discussing it here in detail.
I think they wouldn't give details because it was only one or two. Then it grew.
Cranberry's post was made shortly after this post. Allyson "Lovesick, my Ass!" May 7, 2004 10:16:18 am PDT

Ah. Recap is a detailed summary, a play by play.
Discussion, like the one we had with totem mole is a lot different in my mind.
I was also very hush hush because I was getting annoyed at having to evade questions about where we got to see them, and why.
Thanks... yeah, that was the one that threw me. It's all cleared up now though, right? Finale spoilers here = good, finale spoilers on my board = bad.
I saw Barrel Bear and Totem Mole today, too. I was sort of disoriented by Barrel Bear because it was obviously an earlier episode, but still didn't seem to fit anywhere in particular. I liked it better than Totem Mole, though. I can't explain why, but TM felt kind of "off" to me, much like Safety Canary did. I enjoyed it more on paper.
Barrel Bear did not cause the full on hate for me that it did for Allyson. But it was weird. Kinda out of charactery.... like too zany send up.
Exactly -- Mahandra, in particular, seemed really out of character. I know she was drunk and so can forgive her for trying to help an old lady go over the falls in a barrel, but I don't understand why she supported her in the first place, after she found out her fame was a lie.
I don't think Eric would help her steal that barrel from the real "heroine," either -- he seems too into truth and nobility for that.
except for when he's being a dick and cruel, that is.
True enough. Okay, I amend my statement to "he seemed too into truth and nobility in those earlier episodes for that." Plus he wanted to impress Jaye, so it seemed odd he'd be working with Mahandra against her.
