I think it's time for those who have seen the show to begin recapping it. Cause that at least kinda works some of it out, yes?

I knew what was doing in the unaired Firefly's, for example, but since they were coming to DVD in less than a year, why spoil?

Well there werre also special circumstances involved that precluded spoiler spreading. Plus I know I was only spoiled for Trash and Message. And the Trash spoiler was just a leetle one.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

If a recap happened to show up on say spoiler slayer, that wouldn't upset me.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

well, given the news...I can wait if all this shit gets nailed down by Christmas!

Yay.

I was fine when existence had no meaning. Meaninglessness in a universe that has no meaning -- that I get. But meaninglessness in a universe with meaning? What does that mean?

No, see, if the scripts are being held because Fuller says so, and for no other reason, then, well, fuck Fuller.

Bryan told me, specifically, not to spoil people for the finale, because he wanted everyone to be surprised by the ending if he got the show on cable/DVDs. Because of that, I asked people on the SaveWonderfalls boards not to spoil it, either... which I think is a good idea because many people don't want to know how the series ends (even though they read the other available scripts). I don't think he's deliberately keeping the script from getting online or anything, though -- he didn't mention anything about that.

Can't speak for The Fuller's motivation, though. Maybe he's incredibly naïve, or knows something we don't, or is on the crack of megalomania.

I guess he knew something we didn't... and now that we're getting DVDs, have some people's feelings changed? Would you rather wait until December and see those two episodes, or do you still want to read the scripts?

I'm kind of on the fence when it comes to spoilers. I like being surprised (so I skipped all the finale posts in this thread until after I'd seen it), but I'm also terribly impatient and like to know what's coming (and watch other people's reactions). I guess it depends on the episode -- I tend to avoid finale spoilers for any show.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Me, I read a couple scripts, and I'm not sorry I did, but now that I know we're getting DVDs in a reasonably short time (maybe I'm just old, but six-eight months doesn't seem like much to me anymore) I'd rather wait and see the show as it was intended to be seen, and be as unspoiled as possible.

Not that I'm running away from spoilers, though. I mean, I've kinda got the gist of it already.

Karma is a cat, sleeping in my lap cuz it loves me. ~TS

People who read scripts, know what they're getting into, and they like being spoiled. I don't understand that feeling myself, but it's their choice, so I don't see how posting the scripts would be a bad thing. It's fairly easy to stay unspoiled if that's what you want.

And really, except for one specific moment in the ep, I don't see what so desperately needs to be protected anyway. I mean, it's not like Jaye's gonna *keep* the baby. ;-)

don't worry, j/k.

If you're trying to avoid finale spoilers, then it's probably best to avoid this thread since we were discussing it pretty widely.

I was avoiding this thread for a few days, but I saw the finale this evening (and loved it), so I'm in the clear now.

I'm asking people to avoid discussing it on the SaveWonderfalls boards, because it seems the majority of people (even in our spoiler section) don't want to know how the show ends, so I don't want to risk spoiling them. More importantly, though, Bryan occasionally checks those boards. Since he asked me to keep it quiet, I wouldn't feel right letting people on my forums discuss it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's fairly easy to stay unspoiled if that's what you want.

Hmm. I've never made it through a season unspoiled of Buffy or Angel. I was spoiled ahead of time for the remaining Wonderfalls eps, even though I never touched a script.

I wouldn't call it fairly easy.
