Riley: Oh, yeah. Sorry 'bout last time. Heard I missed out on some fun. Xander: Oh yeah, fun was had. Also frolic, merriment and near-death hijinks.

I was fine when existence had no meaning. Meaninglessness in a universe that has no meaning -- that I get. But meaninglessness in a universe with meaning? What does that mean?

Those ones from ebay are actually a tiny bit smaller than the ones from the props department (one of the SaveWonderfalls people bought one before Bryan sent ours to us, so he got to compare).

Oh, and Jessica, you and your lion are so cute. I'd get a picture of me with mine... if I had a camera.

So cute, Jess.

I think everyone needs a little wax [or, you know, polyethylene plastic] lion in their life.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Those ones from ebay

t wince From the press kits, originally. (That people are selling them on ebay leaves a bad taste in my mouth. They're gifts, you know?)

I know. I'd never sell mine.

It also annoys me that so many of them are in bad condition. I've seen some on there with nicks and scratches, and even a couple missing pieces of their ears and tails. They've been treated with no respect at all.

And I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad. The dreams in which I’m dying are the best I’ve ever had...

I just sealed a deal, and getting me own wax lion. :)

Not having has never been the thing I've regretted most in my life. Not trying is.

Pen, it's like I don't even know you anymore.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Pretty number with some 00s.

in other words, slumbernutting.

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

Are there any LAistas who'd be willing to get a Mold-a-Rama lion from the zoo for me, and bring it to the F2F? They're so *cute*.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I can say now, re: the finale, that it does sort of make Eric look better. Rewatching a lot made me feel that Jaye is insane, aside from the whole tchotchkes thing (or because of it), and that there's pretty damned little practical motivation for him to stick to it with her.

I think he handles it badly, but mostly makes the right call.

I adore Aaron, and want one of my very own. He has a "sex look" and his very own pimp music, and when he gets obsessive he's smoking.
