She and her dad.

I love that. They even make their fists in that same exaggerated-flexing way. So cute.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

okay...so all this chit chat made me go read the remaining two scripts that are online. now my need to see these episodes is even stronger(if that is possible).

so, Allyson. you had problems with the way Jaye and Eric acted in Saftey Canary. i had issues with the way it ended in Lying Pig. it just didn't seem like logical progression to me. sure he wants to attempt to work on his marriage, but i don't think that he would marry her. again. it just didn't work for me.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think Eric married her again because he's a big old romantic sap who thinks he can fall back in love with her.

First come first serve.

Plus he was lashing out.

well...i agree that he's a romantic sap, but at the very end he wasn't lashing out. he was when he marched Heidi out of the Barrell, but not when he kissed Jaye on the cheek and proceeded to re-marry Heidi. it wasn't about lashing out at that point. he'd just, sort of, resigned himself to being "that guy" that tries to make things right. i just don't see how re-marrying her will do so. they're still married in the eyes of law. so...why go through that again? why not just see if the marriage can be saved?

i'm guessing it was for dramatic effect, but i just didn't feel it.

oh and before i forget. i'm loving Aaron and Mahandra.

When he confirmed with her where the chapel was, I thought that was pointed.

Eric married her again because he's that guy, but also because Tim was writing, and he was crushing poor Jaye's happy. Bastard.

he's a big old romantic sap

Clearly. HE is where the schmoop lives.

I hate Aaron and Mahandra.

A lot.

I like them both individually but I think it's BULLSHIT that they are together, like, wham. Especially because prior to Safety Canary they had at most 1 scene together.

Bullshit.

I like the how they act all fake sneaky (and Aaron, so bad with the skulking), but I'm still bothered by how they got together. 'Cause lame.

edited to add... sorry... It occurs to me though that most of you haven't had the pleasure of seeing the skulking. But he tries to and is adorably miserable at the skulking.

well...mostly i was referring to them individually, but i also liked them together. i like that she's squicked because he's almost like a brother and i like that he doesn't give a damn about it.

it is sudden for us, but these are two people who have known each other for almost their entire lives. i'm guessing that Aaron has had a bit of a thing for Mahandra for a while based on their interaction in Safety Canary. of course this is without seeing it onscreen and just reading it. so...YAMV.

But none of that was shown. Or alluded to. Or written about prior to Safety Canary. Hence the weirdness of it all. It's just so very random.
