What are we voting on again?

SA "Voting Discussion: We're Screwing In Light Bulbs AIFG!" Jun 7, 2007 12:12:09 am PDT

Part one:

Do you want a non-fiction thread, which would encompass the same shows as the Experimental Non-fiction thread, namely reality television (The Amazing Race, Survivor, Top Chef), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Mythbustes, Ghost Hunters)?

yes, no, no preference

Part two:

Do you want this thread to have whitefronted discussion?

yes, no, no preference

Part three:

How long should whitefront be if there is whitefront?

24 hours, 72 hours, no preference

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yay for things working!

I think my vote may have bounced. At least I got a bounce message about my email and that's the only thing it could be. Does that invalidate my vote?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Hooray, mail!

sumi, I have a ballot from you.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Quick question -- re: Whitefont delay, the ballot says after the west coast airing. Traditionally, we have done east coast airing as the delimiter. Is this a deliberate change? And I think that it will affect people's vote.

Okay. Thanks.

I think it's a deliberate change. So that even the West Coasters have 24 hours to watch what they've tivoed.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Really? 3 hours difference will affect people's vote? I threw that in there at the last minute because it was on the previous ballot for the experimental threads, and I didn't want confusion. I put in the parenthetical definition whitefont for the same reason.

I'd be a lot happier with East Coast, just because it gets discussion going while most people are likely still up. ETA: but it's not like it's a huge deal.

Well, it's 24 hours later -- so it's going to slow down discussion anyway.
