iStrata reports that they don't like to start upgrades later than 8pm Pacific. They will do a pre-upgrade survey to give an estimate of the duration.

Saturdays are usually fairly slow here, so that sounds good.

Colbert and Daily Show too - I'd say reality, but they've popped up in comedy too.I started to list them under "Comedy" in the proposal, but then couldn't decide if they belonged in "non-fiction". I decided to see what happened. They have ended up in comedy, and they're not unscripted, so I think they landed right.
Unless someone really objects, let's put Ugly Betty in Drama.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.
If I start feeling I have to be near a keyboard for the upgrade, I may make it earlier. But Saturdays are historically our slowest, so I figure if they're willing to work then, we might as well take advantage.

They ended up in comedy, so it seems easier to just leave them there, doesn't it? Nothing about these threads ever has to be written in stone, because they'll disappear on June 1st. At that point, if someone wanted to propose a reality thread, and include Colbert and TDS, they could.

Yeah. I immediately had to unsub from the Drama thread because I'm behind on House, and then from the Comedy thread because I was behind on Earl and Scrubs.
A good thing about having the threads is that you can go back and catch up after you watch the shows. When the discussion is whitefont in Natter I would never search back to find the discussion.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.
FWIW--both Jon Stewart and My Boyfriend Stephen Colbert call their shows comedy shows. Colbert and TDS use non-scripted stuff, but they use it to make us laugh.

i'm in agreement with UB being put in Drama. i don't watch Colbert or TDS to really have an opinion. (though i do think both are pretty hilarious. especially Colbert.)

Given that you are, you know, doing this for us.
