And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Network Drama thread: NAFDA

Cable Drama thread: Whitefont for 24 hours

So weird! I would have guessed these two to go the other way.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

It's a good result, though, in terms of the info we'll hopefully have at the end of this experiment.

So, now for the naming?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I'm guessing that's partly because cable shows tend to air multiple times (on FX even on the same night).

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

God, I wish I was clever.

What is even happening?

So weird! I would have guessed these two to go the other way.

I know -- me, too. I was so surprised to read that, this morning. I figured we'd end up with a week's white font for network drama, 3 days white font for cable, and NAFDA for the other two categories. Some people did mention though, that they're more likely to watch network shows when they air and catch up on the cable shows later on, so that was the difference.

Laura, thank you so much for tallying all those votes. That must have been a pain in the neck with all those question, and Jon thanks for clarifying the white font issue, and doing whatever techie thing you did to help sort the ballot for Laura.

I say we don't name the threads. I don't want to get attached to them, because they're temporary and may well end up proving to us that our current way of organizing our TV conversations is better than anything else we can come up with.

I wonder if we should have a common prefix like "Great Buffista TV Experiment of Ought Seven" with the topic after, or something like that.

Kind of like not naming the pigs destined to be bacon?

Kind of like not naming the pigs destined to be bacon?

Cable Drama Bacon
Network Cable Bacon
Comedy Bacon
Non-Scripted Bacon

Though the concept of Comedy Bacon makes me leery of breakfast.

Hee. I like those.

Ha! I like the Bacon ones. But I could also get behind a prefix. I just want something other than just "Cable Drama" etc. 'cause that's boring. And if there's one thing we ain't, it's boring.
