I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Seconding, if that's still needed.

What is even happening?

Kevin, our process is discussed here: [link] and here: [link]

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Just to clarify for Jessica (and anyone else), I didn't mean "faux democracy" to be derogatory, or that our democratic process is bullshit. I just meant it as.... I'm not sure I know how to put this.... I guess, "our little version of democracy." That's all.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Faux democracy? How is counting votes and going with what the majority wants "faux" democratic in any way?

Well, there's no preferential voting...

Our wings are not tired

I think ND was serious with this proposal:

Yes, I actually was. Sorry, I had to teach a class and just got back here.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

I'm sorry, Drew, I can't second that proposal because I don't think it does anything overall for bolstering thread discussion. If it was one or the other, I'd probably consider it, or if you were proposing a more wider-range of shows around a theme. But I don't see the point of a two-show thread with no major ties, as opposed to Joss or Tim show threads, or some kind of qualification like gritty original dramas, or procedurals.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Aren't we supposed to be discussing Cindy's proposal in Lightbulbs, anyway?

I think we were waiting for a stompy to officially open it. (Except for me, as I will be going to sleep now. How did it get to be past 1 am?)

If that's the case then I'd happily propose a Bones or a Numbers thread. I'm just going with the shows that I actually watch. I'd love a bucket thread of the shows I'm watching.

Noise, I would second your proposal if I hadn't just seconded Cindy's, and most of why I am going all seconding happy is because I want focussed discussion. If you still want to propose your thread after this discussion, is done, please do propose again!

Eta: I'm very sorry, but I have been extremely confused by this while discussion and haven't been able to understand what any one person was stating or proposing or speculating on for some time. I don't want to marginalize your proposal at all.
