A thread to discuss naming threads, board policy, new thread suggestions, and anything else that has to do with board administration and maintenance. Guaranteed to include lively debate and polls. Natter discouraged, but not deleted.

I *think* (and that's always dangerous) that the new thread being voted upon is for discussing the unaired episodes for those who got to see and/or read them. I'm sure discussing past eps will be fine.
And it will be free form I'm sure. Like, "Who saw/read 'Muffin Buffalo'?"
"OOooh! Me, me! Isn't _____ great and _____was hysterical."
Etc etc etc.
Note to slackers: Less than 24 hours until voting closes on the Wonderfalls unaired episodes thread. Also let it be known that more than the requisite 42 votes have been received to make the vote official.
Pardon my newbie stupidity (and do NOT ask me to say that in Pig Latin, my fingers may knot permanently!) but I didn't see any rules in the FAQ or elsewhere for voting. Do you have rules? Can newbies vote? And is there a place to vote, or do we just post "yes" in the thread?
Cynthia, all vote announcements are in press with a link to the ballot page, and usually links to the appropriate issue discussion in the lightbulb thread.
Inevitable x-post.

Newbies can vote. In fact anybody who is registered can vote, lurkers included.
An announcement is made in Press like this...

And you just click on the links and do the voting.
Thanks! I'm still blundering around the site, trying not to step on toes or trip over any wooden stakes!

You're entirely guacamole free at this point. Thanks for taking the time to sort it out, and always feel free to ask questions.
Do we know that if you google "Wonderfalls" a link to Tim's "We're cancelled" post turns up on the first page?

It is linked a lot so thats not surprising. What if we wrote the webmasters and requested they remove the link and replace it with the text?? Its not like its hot news anymore. Its been two weeks now.
Gah!

Won't work. Didn't work for Firefly's cancellation. This is a tech thing I THOUGHT I'd addressed. Last time.
