Our wings are not tired

My votes would go in favor of single show, or small number of show threads and most likely against bigger bucket threads. I'd love to talk TV on this board again and the way it's arranged now that just doesn't happen for me.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

In general, I tend to think that bucket threads are more interesting than single show ones. Maybe that's because I don't worry about getting "spoiled" for a show that has aired but I haven't seen. And I'm fine with skipping over conversation about shows I don't watch.

I'm not particularly in favor of combining Premium with the FX shows mainly because I don't watch the Premium shows, and in fact kind of disliked a couple of them. But that's just my personal ish, it's not really a valid reason to not expand the thread if that's what folks want. I'd probably peek in, if only for the FX shows.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Go away for a weekend, and look what happens. Just so it's clear, I'm not exactly standing where the general TV thread is, I just thought it was looking like the only reasonable way to go. However, after hearing some of the arguments against simply a "drama" thread, versus somewhat more clear delineation, I would say a white-fonted general TV would only be better than natter because there's less natter, and that in-depth discussion would probably be lost in the white font. It would be a visually interesting thread to skim through, though.

As a spoiler-ho (or at least spoiler indifferent), just about any combination of shows works for me. I'd just like to see some more in-depth discussion as opposed to what we generally get in natter.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

I didn't even realise TV was allowed in Natter until I saw it mentioned here. But then, I am 34% stupid.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

You know, I had presumed that Drive would of course be black-font discussed in Minearverse, and was intending to subscribe back to that thread when the show started if I found it met my discussion-needed needs.

Minearverse is NAFDA, so I don't know why we wouldn't have black-fonted discussion (early airing of episodes in Canada aside).

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Yes. I thought the question was re: the early Canadian airing

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

I'm hoping Drive generates enough traffic and lasts long enough to get its own thread. I really don't like going in Minearverse. There's a bunch of people in there I don't know, and I can't follow what they're talking about most of the time.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm hoping Drive generates enough traffic and lasts long enough to get its own thread.

Unless Tim has multiple shows airing at once, Drive is going to be pretty much the sole topic in Minearverse for the duration of the run. What reason would there be for moving it out?

Woe to the fucking wicked.

But, given history, it would be more prudent, at this point, to wait and see, I think.
