Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

That sounds like a good idea, Cindy.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Firefly 4 is about 500 posts away from its end. Given the TV thread organization convo going on in Lightbulb, when FF reaches 10,000 posts, should we open a new one, or should we roll it up with the B/A thread, and have a Whedon thread?

YOU CAN'T TAKE THE SKY FROM ME!!!

Oh wait. Sorry. Reflex.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Just out of sense of tradition, I'd like there to always be a Buffy-specific discussion thread here as a tip of the hat to our origins.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Mixing the threads makes sense to my mind, but my heart likes them separate. I love Buffy and Angel and I love Firefly, but the two 'verses don't mix well for me.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

It was November 500 posts ago (and we had the BE train wreck to gawk at) so I think we've got some time to decide.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Laura, I had a problem with my ballot, so I emailed another vote to correct the first one. I'm not quite sure what happened, but sorry for any confusion.

Our wings are not tired.

I only have one vote from you megan. I'll copy it back to you so you can check and make sure it's right.

hip deep in pie

I haven't gotten a confirmation of my vote. Can you tell if you got one from me, Laura?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Your ballot will be automatically sent to votes@buffistas.org. In addition, a copy of your ballot will be sent to the following e-mail address:

I never got my copy. Laura, did you get my vote? Are other people getting their copies? If so I'll presume my mail server is just being lazy and I won't worry about it.
