Fred: It's the pictures in my mind that are getting me. It's like being stuck in a really bad movie with those Clockwork Orange clampy things on my eyeballs. Wesley: Why imagine? Reality's disturbing enough.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

You know, I'm beginning to seriously think that Heroes might very well deserve its own topic. Seems like it has enough virtues and thematic resonances that the Buffista community could agree on regular enthusiastic and detailed discussion about it, even in the off-season, much like Veronica Mars had in its glory days.

While there are other obvious candidates for a new media topic, I think Heroes might be one that enough of us can agree on.

(FWIW -- I've never suggested adding a topic before, but I see our community coalescing a very broad interest -- not just the slasher-, vidder-, fanfic writer- subgroups -- but the general HSQ/Did you see what happened?/Who the hell is Linderman!??!1! interest.)

What is even happening?

I'll second you, Theo.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I third, Theo. Boxed Set is getting a little crowded, and I would like not having to skim through it to find the Heroes discussion.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I'll fourth. We may also want to think about an SPN thread.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

I forget how many supporters you need, Theo, but I'll definitely sixth that proposal.

Art Crawl!!!

I'll seventh.

And second the one for Supernatural -- if that was serious.

Deena - Feb 28, 2007 4:35:18 am PST #8556 of 10001
How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

I'll third the one for Supernatural.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I wasn't proposing it, but just mentioning it in case Theo wanted to add it to her proposal.

I've opened Lightbulbs for discussion.
