I think the proposal was only in regards to limiting the ability to delete or edit posts, not make them.

She said something to the effect that she couldn't reply to emails.
I took that to mean she emotionally couldn't, not actually. Whatever we want to take that to mean.
Jon said the email was gus@... - was the domain one we're familiar with (gmail or chibardun) or something else new to us?
Catching up with all of this... I'm surprised and very disturbed. And to announce this false tragedy, if it is so, on New Year's Eve, just before lots of people would have started logging on to say HNY... well, way to make sure all eyes are on you. That looks pretty suspicious too, to me.
Gus was the first person to COMM me. I don't know why, but the idea that the first thing that really made me feel like I might be a part of this group, might have come from a "persona" just - I don't know. Bothersome.
But even if Gus wasn't who he said he was, there was still a Gus whom we liked. But if he was lying about all this stuff, stuff that really did affect people, I'm not sure I could like him anymore.
Okay, I've obviously never dealt with Internet Munchausen before. This is kinda wigging me out.
(gmail or chibardun)
She registered under neither of those domain names.
I took that to mean she emotionally couldn't, not actually.
Yeah. Me too. I suppose I should have said that....
So would it be worth having a stompy try the email she did register with and see what happens? Saying what, I'm not sure, but if there's a way to clear any of this up...
Saying what, I'm not sure
"Are you sure he's dead?"
Yeah, there's really no good way to say anything here.
Is it possible that there really is a person G. Straley, who is truly deceased, but perhaps misrepresented himself in other ways? On my way home from work I was thinking about how easy it would be for me, for example, to represent myself as a professor of my uni, instead of a secretary-- although it would be solvable with a quick google. In that case, I am not sure that kimi would be able to answer the queries. The point against this, of couirse, is that kimi said that his students call him Dr. Straley, but I have had students call me "Professor RealLastname" even though I am not. (My uni does not actually call people Dr unless they are an MD. Professors are called "Professor")
How about, "Is there an obituary online somewhere?" We don't have to be rude. It's not an unusual request.
