Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Jossverse will be dead very, very soon.

We need a new thread title, and it probably shouldn't be called "Jossverse" since it's now a general comic book thread.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

it probably shouldn't be called "Jossverse" since it's now a general comic book thread.

I agree 100%, but I seem to remember people disagreeing in the past, on the off chance that someone who read a BTVS novel would want to talk about it.

But it truly is the de facto comics thread, and Joss *does* write comics, and there *is* a Season 8 Buffy comic coming out.

Could there be some kind of thread name that encompasses that? Like, "Comic Books: Jossian and Otherwise"?

What is even happening?

What about just taking out the "in" and modifying the slug, so it's: The Jossverse - Other Media
Discussion of Buffy, Angel and other comics, graphic novels, and more.

Joss is a huge comic fan, writes other comics, reads them, loves them. They in...

I'll shut up, because I am never in there (although I've figured on that changing when Season 8 comes out) and I'm just anti-change to the amount of ridiculous.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

I do recall an issue coming up with the fact that "Jossverse in Other Media" doesn't have comic books in the title. Somebody came into Bureaucracy once (in this thread, in fact, #978) and was like, "We need a comic books thread!!"

So explicitizationocratizing is important.

It smacks of the same problem we've had with Boxed Set -- somebody was like, "Wow, you've been talking about Stargate in there for two years and I had no idea! What's with the completely misleading header?"

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

It all goes back to the thread proliferation wars of ought-whatever. We weren't going to have a comic book thread. We were going to keep a tight focus on the Jossverse and that thread was originally a catch all bucket for games and novelizations and the occasional comic. But now it really is the de facto comic thread and has been for some time. We should just say so.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Agreed - and all the more so since in addition to non-Jossy comics love, we really don't talk at all about games, novels, action figures, or other such there, whether it's Jossverse or otherwise.

Okay, how about: Juxtaposed pictorial and other images in deliberate sequence, intended to convey information and/or to produce an aesthetic response in the viewer 2: Joss likes these things, right?

Our wings are not tired

What? Have a thread name and slug that actually matches the content of the thread? That flys in the face of everything Buffista!

Our method seems to be somewhere between Jefferson laying out the paths at UVA by letting the students determine the best paths first, and a process of: Denial! Deniability. Shrug...

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Well, how about Joss and Other Media: Shhhhhh! Don't tell anyone.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

We have on occasion talked about games. IJS.

How about Other Media 2: It's Astounishing!
