I had a whole section about civic pride.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Jesse's very cute.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I can't tell if this is a new article on old news, or a reprint of an old article. Either way, it's relevant because we're an online community who enjoys navel-gazing!

The status is NOT quo.

I have an etiquette question. I have a good friend who wants to join b.org, but my suspicion is that she will post in a lot of the tv threads that I'm not in. I'd like to introduce her in Beep Me or Press so that I don't have to spam threads saying, "No, no, she's okay! She's fun and sweet and stuff!" Would an intro be an appropriate use of either of those threads?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I don't see why you would have to spam threads. If she reads before she starts posting and sees how things work she should just slide in. She could also say, by ways of introduction: KristinT introduced me to b.org, hiya.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If you want to post that you know her, I'd do it afterwards. Or she can say she knows you. It'll be fine--don't sweat it. She probably won't need it anyway.

Great. I figured as much, but I thought I'd ask.

What is even happening?

We're going to need a new Bitches thread, soon. I went trawling through some Spike Quote lists [link] [link] I've bolded my favorites.

Spike's Bitches 33: Oh, not with the girl power bit.

Spike's Bitches 33: It's a big rock.

Spike's Bitches 33: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.

Spike's Bitches 33: It would've been like Woodstock.

Spike's Bitches 33: We like to talk big.

Spike's Bitches 33: The encounter group can meet later.

Spike's Bitches 33: You were my Yoda.

Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else.

Spike's Bitches 33: Not the first choice for heroics.

Spike's Bitches 33: You take the killing for granted.

Spike's Bitches 33: I've got an unlife, you know!

Spike's Bitches 33: I'm embarrassed for our kind.

Spike's Bitches 33: Every night I save you.
[Did we already do that one?]

Spike's Bitches 33: It's inspirational, isn't it?
