I'm sorry. You were going to ask me to choose, right? Did you want to finish?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Ah, sweet anti-proliferation arguments, how I have missed thee.

I agree with:

Personally, I also like having TV talk all over the place,

but not because of:

because it forces people to check out threads they might not otherwise go into. It fosters community, or something.

It actually functions opposite for me. If there are shows being discussed in other threads (typically, than Natter & Boxed Set for me, personally) then I completely forget their existence. Whereas if there were fascinating whitefont or general blackfonted discussion in Natter, I would perhaps get interested in the show. That's what happened to me with PR. Like, I've completely blanked out the existence of that...you know...whadda call...Victoria Mars or whathaveyou.

That being said, I don't have premium channels (or UPN for that matter) so I don't really care if there's a premium channel thread. Except for the basic anti-proliferation reasons.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I could see people wanting to discuss Slings and Arrows or the like

That's not on a premium channel, is it? I know it showed up on my cable, and I don't get anything premium.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Slings & Arrows is on AMC, I think.

That's a big blurring of the lines, methinks.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I think it's on Sundance. That's considered a premium-type channel on my cable.

And not premium on mine, it seems. So I think one needs to be clear with the definitions.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Shouldn't we open the voting thread for this talk, since Allyson's proposal got the right number of seconds?

Oh, maybe it is Sundance. Which is kinda sorta premium, since you need the digital package to get it. But only kinda sorta.

Yes. This.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Wait, am I supposed to clarify?
