"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies and Christmas

Nicely seasonal. Also a really funny scene. Ahhh, the Xander and Spike basement-mate days. Though I might have preferred Spike's brief sojurn at Giles' house. There was a lot of funny taunting there.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I still like the inthread suggestion based on the introdution of CC's character to AH's character...

eta: ah, I see ita's finished what I came back to mention.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

On Veronica Mars, for reference.

Now that thread 18 has assuaged that particular need, I like puppies and Christmas.

Puppies...and Christmas!

If we go for Puppies and Christmas, can we emulate the delivery like that?

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies—and Christmas!

Our wings are not tired.

So you've convinced me to save brochure for another thread and go with the seasonal selection. But shouldn't it be

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Holidays!

or

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Season's Greetings!

Although I wouldn't want the AFA to boycott our board so

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Although I wouldn't want the AFA to boycott our board

Hm. I would.

Our wings are not tired.

Ah, we'd turn them with our cunning powers of persuasion and in no time at all they'd be pushing for more slash in prime time.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

I'm inclined to leave it Christmas, as I hear Spike's voice saying it every time I read it, and neither of the season substitutions sound the same way. But it's not a huge issue for me.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Holidays!

This one makes me laugh, but I'm happy sticking with Christmas.
